Who are you people?
We’re two couples who have a shared interest in many things, one of them is an enjoyment of different kinds of books and stories.

I’m Ashley. I like reading. You know I don’t think I have a favorite type or genre. I’m a kind of a golden retriever, I just want to experience and enjoy all sorts of books. Lately it’s definitely been romantasy focused.

I am not necessarily the most amazing reader on the face of the earth, but I do enjoy nonfiction and married into fiction, so I’m learning. I think it opens my mind to new adventures, although audiobooks are my preferred method of reading.

I’ve always felt like a literary wanderer with a love for science fiction and fantasy, but sometimes delves into the annals of history, finding fascination in the tales of civilizations past. While I’m new to romantasy, I have always enjoyed stories with romantic elements as long as they avoid tired tropes and cliches.

Curious explorer of worlds real and imagined. I have always loved to read: all kinds of fiction, fantasy, sci-fi, romantasy, horror, romance, monster romance, and all the mashups. I usually have at least two or three books going at once, a mix of audiobooks and ebooks and physical copies. I am so excited and grateful to be doing this podcast with my soulmate and friends.
